Letterman Seeking "Something"

Late Show with David Letterman seeking unique acts for "Is This Anything?" the Late Show's variety/novelty showcase.
We're looking for unique variety or novelty acts for our "Is This Anything?" segment, which is Late Show with David Letterman's showcase of the unusual. We'd like acts that you don't see every day to fill up our performance space. It's a silly and fun segment and a great opportunity for performers to show off their best talents. The acts that do really well are outsized, fast, physical, fun, and fill up the space.
A few things to keep in mind:
- We prefer acts that have not yet appeared on television. Please, no acts that have already appeared on America's Got Talent, Leno, Ellen, or any other national talent-type or comedy-variety show.
- Most of the time we are not able to pay for travel, so we prefer acts local to the NYC area, or at the very least within driving distance.
Thanks for your interest!
Where:
Ed Sullivan Theater
New York, NY
How:
Performers who are interested may email a description of the act, links to video, and their best contact phone numbers to lateshowisthisanything@gmail.com.
