The 2011 Cabbagetown Festival is looking for street buskers to perform at our outdoor street festival taking place Saturday September 10th and Sunday September 11th. The Cabbagetown Festival is a two day event of live music, food and pubs, great things for sale, outdoor patios, craft vendors, and lots more!
The Festival takes place in Toronto's Old Cabbagetown at Carlton and Parliament. The street festival runs along Parliament street between Gerrard and Wellesley and along Carlton to Berkley street.
Buskers are invited to attend either or both days, anytime betweeen 11:30a.m. and 7p.m. (approx.)
The profit you earn is whatever money you can earn passing around the hat (many buskers in past years have found this very successful!)
We do not reserve spaces for buskers, we simply invite you to attend and you find a location you feel you can perform successfully in.
We are especially looking for acts outside the musical genre, i.e. jugglers, magicians, etc.
