Busking Opportunities
Thank you for all of the inquiries that I have received regarding busking opportunities in Kelowna, BC.
I do want to clarify however, and apologize, if my initial call misled anyone in anyway.
The organization that I am with, Parks Alive!, is a community-based program that produces and presents live entertainment and other arts-based programming in Kelowna's city parks primarily during the summer months. The majority of the events that we produce are free to the public. For more information on the program, please visit our website at www.parksalive.com.
As per busking, it is one of the arts-based programs that we are responsible for administering. My intention in putting out the call was to notify any buskers who are travelling in Canada this upcoming summer to stop off in Kelowna on your travels - there are licensed spots that Parks Alive! is responsible for administering. If interested, please drop me a line and I can provide you with the appropriate information.
