BUSKERS WANTED SUMMER 2003
Art in Shaw Park is an event designed to promote and celebrate the work of Fine Artists and Artistic Artisans and we would like to further its individuality by adding Street Performers to the marquis.
Held outside in downtown Yorkton's historic Shaw Park, this market will be juried for quality, uniqueness and artistic merit. The number of booths is not our measure of success, rather, the callibre and reputation of the vendors and their products is. Our reward will be to see an eclectic gathering of talent in one place for one day only. The aim is to establish a venue for the best of the best to share their visual and performing talents with the public and with each other. The artists and performers selected to participate in the Art in Shaw Park Market will be encouraged to contribute to the planning by way of offering suggestions and giving feedback.
