I am a Producer for Americas Got Talent on NBC. Have you been contacted to audition in the past? I have been casting for the show for the past 3 seasons and am looking for the best of the best to come out and audition for Season 5!! We have already been to a few Cities (NYC, Chicago and Philadelphia) But plan on visiting many more after the New Year. If you are interested in submitting yourself please see the info below.
Americas Got Talent is back for Season 5!!! We are the biggest Variety Talent show in America, showcasing all kinds of acts from Singers to Fire Jugglers. We average 12 Million viewers per episode, and last Season Americas Got Talent Finale peaked at an estimated 20 MILLION Viewers! This is an amazing opportunity to take your talent to one of the largest stages on TV!!.
My job is to seek out Acts that we know we DO NOT WANT TO MISS while we are in and around your city! If I like what I see I will present the acts to my Executive Producers and Simon Cowell in order for them TO BE CONSIDERED for an private audition (NO waiting in Long Lines) If this is something that interests you below are the instructions for how to proceed.
1. EMAIL ME AT: Megmacagt5@gmail.com
Send me your video (please do not send video that you have already submitted to AGT)
* The preferable way is to either upload the video to a social network site (Youtube, Myspace ect) and Email me the link OR download the video to your computer then email me the Video File (Either in .mov, .mp4 or. avi file....windows media files are NOT preferable)
* 90 sec video of your best stuff! If you only have a Promo reel, that’s ok. However tailored videos are preferred.
* Include a Short Intro of Your Name, Age, Where you’re from , and what your Talent is.
* If you perform to music you should choose something upbeat, current and popular. This allows for the producers to really visualize you on our stage.
* SINGERS: A Cappella is preferred.
2. Fill out the following form and paste it in your email along with the Video that you are sending (please try to send all info together at one time)

3. Look over and Fill Out the attached AGT5 Application. If you are invited to audition, or would like to attend One of our Open Calls you will bring this Application with you, you DO NOT need to fax it unless specified.
4. Deadline. I would like all Videos and Information sent to me before we go on our Holiday Hiatus. DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 15th, 2009. I will make exceptions if you need more time, but please let me know so we can work something out.
