Buskers Needed - Ft. Lauderdale in Feb. 2003

Calling all Street Performers and Buskers! On February 6 - 9, 2003, the City of Fort Lauderdale will be hosting a Dragon Boats and Buskers Festival (name subject to change) in the Downtown and along the New River. Although we are considering all acts, we will be selecting a small proportion of our overall acts that might represent art (such as moving art), science (Mad Science), acts geared toward children, living statues, comedy, painting, and unique music acts as we will be promoting an Arts and Entertainment District. Travel subsidies, per diems, and lodging under discussion and not finalized at this point.

If you are interested in coming to sunny Florida in the middle of your cold winter, please forward a performer package (must include video of a recent performance) to:
