SummerFest In Vancouver July 13
Hey folks!
My name is Glynis and I'm looking for performers for an event called SummerFest, to be held at New Brighton Park, Vancouver (behind PNE grounds) on July 13, 2002. Summerfest is a project of British Columbia Youth Parliament, a non-profit, non-partisan, volunteer organisation created by, and built to serve, the youth of this fine province.
This all day, out door, community festival is set to attract people of all ages and will be made available to the public free of charge. BCYP is committed to providing families with social or financial difficulties a chance to have fun with their family and friends in an environment that is not always accessible to them.
As Entertainment Director for SummerFest, I'm looking for, among other things, various street performers to attend the event and build our festival atmosphere. Please let me know if you're able to volunteer your time, at any length, to BCYP and Summerfest. As a non-profit organisation we are not able to pay any of the acts contributing to Summerfest, and rely heavily on those who are able to donate their services.
