Two Thumbs Up!
I did this fest last year and couldnt believe how the crowds just showed up ready to go.
It would be 5 minutes before your slot and there was no one in site, but as soon as the clock ticked...shazam insta-crowd. And they were totaly read to go.
We did have some super crap weather but when word was put out that we were doing shows rain or shine in the evening at least 1000 folks showed up with umprellas, ponchos and blankets. All 4 acts did a shows and the people stayed and tipped each show.
Add in some nice weather and this gig will rock big time.
In a beautiful little town and run by nice folks, too. -

Interesting. I'm doing some sort of festival 2 weeks before july 24/26 in exactly the same place.
I should do yours as well given I'm up there. 2 gigs worth of travel fee's better than one.

Just finished this festival this past weekend. What a cool town! Extremely friendly and generous audiences and really kind and helpful organizers (thank you Gaylynne and Scott!). Put this one on your radar; this is a young-ish festival that wants to grow. A little bit of a gamble due to unpredictable weather, but worth it in my opinion.

Yah, the fest was amazing...but I was very surprised with the lack of professionalism on the organization; our ferry was booked incorrectly and I was not even offered compensation or help in re-booking my flight home.Comment

I second the motion. It's very clear that a lot of thought and planning went into every single piece:
-The pitch rotation is fair and leaves plenty of rest between sets
-Event staff, water, power, etc were always readily available at every pitch
-This event is properly promoted. Everyone and their grandma comes out to the shows.Comment
