Norway Theater Fest - With a Street Element

I got an email from this guy. He was telling me about his festival. I wrote back for more info and he sent this back. Sounds interesting, although it looks like it's just hats. But it IS Norway.

That web site below is not in English.

Our festival is the biggest international theatre festival in Norway.

The Street of Fools - lots and lots of performances in the town centre, both professional and amateur all the week. The best one gets the "PIT's Street of Fools award" The festival is growing, and the "Street of Fools" is the fastest growing part. Porsgrunn Internasjonale Teaterfestival takes place in Porsgrunn, Norway from 15th. to 22nd of June 2002.

Street of Fools is a street performer festival, inside PIT!

The non-fee performers in the street will get a place to stay, a big and lovely audience and the opportunity to get some money "in the hat". Street of Fools is also a place to meet other street performers.

The "PIT's Street of Fools award" will be given to one of the non-fee street performances. This is a big honor, and the winner will be selected by the audience only.

We are working with our web pages, and hope that they will be running in the middle of February.

I hope this answerd some of your questions. Otherwise, please contact me agin.
