    Need Acts in LONDON - A Freebie for Mental Health!

    [This just came into my in-box. --Jim]

    Help looking for  entertainers, jugglers, stiltwalkers, marching band, drag
    act or tribute band who might be prepared to help with one of these events,

    World Mental Health Day 2001

    Wednesday 10th October -World Mental Health Day Parade Looking for
    Jugglers/Stiltwalkers Marching Bands to join parade 11am for 2 hours

    Friday 12th October -Walpole House/Ellis Ward Festival -Venue Walpole House
    Community Mental Health Resource Centre 13 Mattock Lane Ealing london W5

    entertainer's, music, poetry reading ,stalls makeover artist, hairdresser,
    face painting, aromatherapy, food etc.

    10am to 5pm Require Bands, Entertainers throughout the day!! Audience around
    100 people. (can pay expences)

    Friday 19th October - 'Celebration of Diversity Gig', Venue: West London NHS
    Mental Health Trust St Bernards Hospital Uxbridge Road, Hanwell Ealing W7
    Probably a Marquee in the grounds.

    Food, Barbecue, Battle of the Bands, entertainment, comedy slot

    2.30 to 9pm Audience around 200 people (can pay expences)

    Can promise publicity, food, enthusiastic audience not much else. Looking for
    entertainers who can give a time slot to either or both events. We do not
    make any money on the event it is about promoting postive images and de
    stigmatising mental illness.
