great opportunity for young clown UK
My name is Rebecca and I am contacting you as I am in need of a jester type performer to help out over my summer season.
My company is called Jive Pony and we perform with our horses a circus based show all over the county throughout the summer. We have highly trained horses upon which we perform all kinds of acrobatics and trick ridding. Our horses also dance (hence Jive Pony!)
In our show we also have a clown character that is vital to the smooth running of the show and also gets to cause lots of trouble, and be very amusing in general! I am looking for someone light and agile who would be to be willing to work on a horse (all training provided) and also work with a pantomime horse and wear tutu's and generally work the crowed!
It is paid work (all be it modestly) and all accommodation and food is provided when working. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in front of good sized outdoor crowds. They would also have to be willing to work as part of a team and not be adverse to helping put up and take down the rig on move days.
