    UPCOMING EVENT....PERFORMERS NEEDED!!!

    Dear Friend,

All across the country this upcoming September and October, walkers will Light the Night to celebrate and commemorate the lives of individuals touched by cancer. The Northern New Jersey Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is proud to sponsor six walk sites throughout northern and central New Jersey.

The Light the Night Walk is a 1-3 mile walk which takes place during the evening hours. Participants carry illuminated balloons to signify their commitment to the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, and improving the quality of life of patients and their families. Patients and survivors will light the way with glowing white balloons, while friends and family will carry brilliant red balloons. All participants will celebrate the tremendous strides that have been made in leukemia research during a post-walk festival.

    The walk sites are:

    • Horseshoe Lake, Succasunna 9/29
    • Pier A, Hoboken 9/29
    • Giralda Farms, Madison 9/29
    • Brookdale Park, Bloomfield/Montclair 10/6
    • Colonial Park, Somerset 10/6
    • Presbyterian Church, Westfield 10/6

We are asking for your help in making this walk a success. Your presence and skill as an entertainment professional will help provide a celebratory atmosphere during our pre and post-walk festival.

We are asking that you provide services gratis or at a reduced rate. Should you graciously choose to donate your time for free, you will be acknowledged as an “in-kind” sponsor of the event.

Your participation will be invaluable in helping The Society. In addition, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you helped to accelerate cures for blood related cancers!

Please contact me at (908) 654-9445 if you have any questions or can work with us at this event.

    Sincerely,
    Kisha Achoe
