Vauldeville & Burlesque in Arkansas
I am looking to put on a (Vaudeville Burlesque review) here in Arkansas...
It has always been my dream to follow in my father-in-laws footsteps...
He had elaborate shows in many of his 150 burlesque theatres.
What I like to do is get together a variety of people that can help behind the curtain and also stage performers.
Men and women of all shapes and sizes to do stand up ,sing ,and dance...
Having your own music and costumes is a plus.
*People behind the curtain will be building props, illusions and lights ,music and sound.
*Novelty acts - the weird, the wonderful, the bizarre, the entertaining. If it can fit on our
stage, we want to see it - anything goes so long as it entertains us.
vaudevillian comedians, tap dancers, singing drag queens, accordion players, punk bands, stand up comedians,
poi dancers, belly dancers and ventriloquists, just to give a few examples.
No fire acts, please, for insurance reasons.
*comedians:A comedian, or comic, a performer who entertains an audience by making them laugh.
This might be through jokes or amusing situations, or acting the fool, as in slapstick, or employing prop comedy
*Striptease acts - pleasing peelers with unique looks and gimmicks. The emphasis, style-
wise, here is on tease, not strip - think Gypsy Rose Lee and Tempest Storm, not what
you'd find at a modern day strip club
Striptease acts must be comfortable and willing to perform with pasties and G-Strings.
Auditions need to prepare a 3-5 minute act to show us.
video submissions via mail or Internet are also acceptable.

No experience needed must be 18-81
No nudity involved but there will be pasties and G-Strings
