Summer Entertainment on Granville Island, Vancouver BC Canada Busking Opportunites
The Granville Island Busker Program is seeking new acts for the Summer Entertainment on Granville Island program. The mandate of this program is to have high quality, dynamic entertainment at our two premiere busking locations, for the peak tourist season on Granville Island.
Selected acts will be pre-programmed into these locations from May 19-September 16, 2007 on Saturdays, Sundays and holiday Mondays. Fridays will be pre-programmed from 11-3 in June and all day during July and August. SEGI Performers are also encouraged to attend the draw on non preprogrammed days.
Performers will not be paid; however, accepting donations and selling CDs during performance is permitted.
This is an opportunity for experienced performers only. We're looking for professional, family oriented shows of all types. Application forms and guidelines are available from www.giculturalsociety.org or from the Granville Island Cultural Society office, address below. Please submit your application materials by April 2, 2007. Materials received beyond the deadline will be considered as space allows.
