Buskers on the Boardwalk Festival July 20-22
G'day!
Welcome to the 2007 Buskers on the Boardwalk Festival in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada!
Located in the heart of Uptown Saint John at the foot of the picturesque Saint John Harbour, Market Square - renowned as Saint John's Festival Place - is celebrating its seventeenth season of side-splitting comedy, astounding physical feats, and all-out crazy antics with the 2007 Buskers on the Boardwalk Festival! Performers who hail from across the globe unite each summer to transform our Boardwalk into an apex of laughter and wonder, drawing over 20,000 residents and tourists alike to the centre. With a rousing and exhilarating lineup of working acts, extensive range of vendors, and children's activities (including: bounce rides, professional face painters, balloons, clowns, and more!) The nightlife crowd will be as excited as the kids, as we have the best bars and restaurants, each with own outdoor patio, for enjoying summer nights with friends - and little magic and wonder, of course! Our Boardwalk is the ideal outdoor venue for the three day event; however, we also have a rain venue location just inside our Atrium should the weather not cooperate.
Our performers average three 45 minute sets (including setup/teardown time) per day over the course of the three day event, for which we are pleased to focus the spotlight on each performer by limiting the amount of acts to under ten per festival. We also host a Sh*ts & Giggles late night nasty show as a busker showcase, organized amongst the performers.
