RED BANK: Performers who believe they can entertain downtown visitors can try out April 26 for the StreetLife 2006 series.
Sponsored by Bank of America and organized by RiverCenter downtown business alliance, StreetLife is seeking performance artists such as mimes, clowns, poets, painters, magicians, puppeteers, stilt walkers and musicians age 16 and older.
Tryouts will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Count Basie Theatre Rehearsal Studio, 99 Monmouth St.
The performances start June 3 and continue on Saturday nights through August 26.
