    winter olym. Torino Italy

has anyone performed at the olympics in the past few years? I was going to Italy anyway between the 10th and the 28th of feb. and was wondering if it would be any good to crash Turin. Are there any pitches in Turin? Security concerns? Any thoughts?

    Salt Lake City

The 2002 olympics in Salt Lake City had an olympic villiage where everyone hung out. The security getting in was very similar to a airport. If its like Salt Lake their is no way you will be able to crash that party. However their was a lot of people walking to and from the olimpic villiage it might be possible to set up outside and get something going. Goodluck

      Torino busking

there is a good busking spot the Piazza Castello (the castle piazza) in the center of the city. Torino actually passed a law that you CAN busk, without infringement by the cops. just don't block traffic.
it's pretty cold up there in Feb! but Torino itself usually doesn't get too much snow. I have no idea what to expect as far as crowds with the olympics there and everything.. I would expect a lot more people speaking english during the olympics than when I was there. if you speak some italian, that would help, and french works pretty well too as the dialect of north-western italy is very french.

      buona fortuna!
