An email Jim, but not as we know it.
Excuse my confusion.
If you are aware that you can be e-mailed within this BB then my apologies.
It's your first post so I cannot take that for granted.
I look your hotel up
It's attractive.
So I wonder if instead this is like a test.
Must i hunt you down JimB?
Very well. -
First name Jim (or James) last name B....
"Sunset Festival
Each evening as the sun dips into the shimmering blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, the Hilton Pier becomes center stage for the world famous Key West sunset. The entire Hilton Pier becomes alive as internationally known street performers like Dominique & His Flying House Cats delight and amaze spectators. On the pier, we offer a number of beverage stations that serve some of the best tropical libations."
The concierge should be returning my call at his earliest convenience. (If he's allowed to make toll calls.)
I haven't been this excited since I myself taught my housecat to mix/stir and present with a feline flourish a libation I thereafter named, 'Something the cat made.'
I'm closing in.Comment

Game over.
I have his name, his email and his phone number.
He is the Vice President, Strategic Initiatives of a corp. based in Atlanta and is at present visiting Key West quite possibly scheming strategically in ways that quite possibly threaten cat handlers.
He transitioned into his present position round Nov last year, prior to which he was the vice president, southeastern region.
There is the smallest chance that I am completely mistaken which is why I am not broadcasting specific contact info.
The concierge, who merely furnished his name, seemed to think that Jim B******. was the region food and beverage director but I am lead to believe from further googling, that that was part of his pre-transitioned brief.
I would rove but distracting people from a glorious sunset would not be in anyones strategic interest.
I do like a good sleuth.Last edited by martin ewen; Jan-12-2006, 07:58 PM.Comment

Audition
I just got back from Key West. I met and spoke with Jim. He mentioned that he has received over 50 emails from his posting on here. He was leaving out of town for meetings last Thrusday and wasn't going to be back in the office until today. I did an audition for his assistant. Stickman was the only other performer that I know of who was auditioning in person. So be patient, he was trying to fill only two or three spots I think. Rumour has it, Guy was leaving. Hope this helps.Comment

Email
Martin,
I just came across this thread and I'm wondering what all that stuff at the bottom was? Were you looking for his email address? All you need to do is click the black EMAIL button at the bottom of his post. He's registered so his email is in the system. You knew that, right?
I'm confused.Comment

Well...Um
Yes I knew that, but I wondered if HE knew that, given it was his first post and all.
I became fixated. I couldn't sleep. I used my patented tangental sleuthing techniques and thought I'd found him based out of Atlanta. (I did talk to the concierge)
But my designated catspaw, who contacted my suspect, got back to me to say no it wasn't him.
I have a whole new raft of fixations now.Comment

Laff
I'm performing beside the Cat man, it was legit. I was in Miami so I drove down and pitched in person. Not sure, but think he's filled all the spots now.
