IN NEED OF STAGE MANAGER
...i am looking for someone to act as the announcer & stage manager for a show which is in development for the off market theatre in san francisco.
there is little work to be done other than making the pre-show announcements, operating the light/sound board & the little bit of business at the conclusion of the show.
you must be: mature, reliable and avaiable to rehearse during business hours the second & third week of may.
it would rock if you were: a smoker who is unafraid of women brandishing flaming objects.
this is (at the moment) a mostly volunteer position. (i will kick in for your gas to/from the show or bart/muni fare... PLUS, drinks following the show.) however, there is the opportunity for it to develop into a regular paying gig. at the very least it will be a great way to make some contacts in the s.f. theatrical/improv scene.
