My name is Marc Katz and I am the producer of A Three Ring Circus for Children ages 10-16 now in its 22nd season.
We are a beautiful Performing Arts Summer Camp in New York concentrating in Circus, Drama, Dance, Music and Film founded in 1969.
We are in need of Circus Coaches, Teachers and Professionals who can teach a few of the following acts:
FLYING TRAPEZE
SPANISH WEB
MEX CLOUD SWING
TRIPLE TRAP
SWINGING TRAP
LOW CASTING
PERCH POLE
HANGING PERCH
HAND BALANCING
ROLLER SKATING
LOW WIRE TAUGHT
TUMBLING
JUGGLING
BICYCLE BUILT FOR FIVE
CLOWNING
We need people who can be creative, safe and who might be able to bring new acts to our show.
2004 POSITIONS STILL AVAILABLE:
„Circus Teacher/coaches‰
Seven People of various skills and knowledge who can teach and coach some or all of the acts we produce. Bring new acts and new ideas to the show.
All positions at Long Lake include salary, room & board. Join over 130 fellow artists in residence who share their talents in theater, dance, music, film and fine arts. Our campus is located on the shore of Long Lake, a clean beautiful lakeside setting with the Adirondack Mountains all around us. You will have plenty of time to enjoy yourself, each other and the outstanding facilities.
We produce three shows each summer and rehearse over a (slightly less than) three-week session each. There are about 80 children in each show.
All of these positions offer salary commensurate with your experience, room, board and a beautiful summer with 130 other artists in residence who come together to share their talents with terrific kids eager to learn from you.
I would be very interested in talking to you right away about your capabilities and desires for this summer.
