      Spelling

Bar Mitzvah as in- An important land mark for the young Jewish boy is the Bar Mitzvah and for the Jewish girl the Bat Mitzvah. Bar Mitzvah is celebrated when the boy reaches his thirteenth birthday, while the Bat Mitzvah is celebrated at the age of twelve. The literal meaning of Bar/Bat Mitzvah is "commandment age" or “age of maturity”, hence the time in life where the boy or girl becomes an adult in the Jewish tradition.
