For anyone not tied down , Cadiz is in Carnival at this very moment , And goes on until Wednesday , Following that Valencia has their Fallas (and many other villages surrounding) , absolutely fantastic fun but full of children throwing fireworks at you . Castellon start their fiestas after Valencia . Oh , and Easter after that (anywhere in SSpain should be good )..Sevill is very good in April ............

The dates for these festivities are ; Valencia 12Mar-19th , but playing the last day is only for the brave , Castellon follows by starting on the 20th-28th , we found last year that the first weekend was not so good , but busking wise got better .And Easter starts 4th April -11th , every single city is good at easter . -

The last day of Fallas , is when they set about burning all the sculptures . In Valencia city , theres more than 100 huge paper mache /wood sculptures .Everybody is throwing fireworks all the time durin the whole week , but the last day , was too much at least for us , and our family based show . For a fire performer , its paradise perhaps .Lots of healthy descontrol though , and we had fun on the last day watching everything burn and not working .Comment

Following on after Easter , Sevilles big shindig the Feria de Abril is 27th-2nd May , although reports have it that there may not be space for large circle acts , the reason being that the Feria is not in the centre of the city (where the is space for big shows) , but on a big plot of land just outside , and you have to play the streets next to the feria .
Cordoba celebrates the Cruces on 2,3 mayish , then they have the festival of the windowboxes , basically a spring flower fiesta until th 19th May .Comment
