Street Performers Wanted

My name is Tonya King. I am the USA talent agent for an Italian company called GFF Event. I am looking for street performers to tour Italy for three months this summer.

This job is all expenses paid, plus street tips, plus wage. We will be leaving the first week of June throught the last week of August.

This is a promotional tool for a concert series in Italy. We are the circus that rolls into town a few days before a major concert event. We entertain in that town, collect tips and move on to the next. On the day of the concert we perform at the show. At the end of this concert series, we perform at a street performer festival in Italy.

I need talent not only for this tour but also other upcoming events.

I am holding auditions in Venice Beach, California. February 19th and 20th. If you are not able to make the audition I will need to recieve a cd with your act.

Tonya,
I've never been to Europe, but from what I've heard, Europe is very welcoming to the arts especially busking.

Venice, CA is run by the Gang "the Crips" and is really hard to work. Not very good testing ground. Over all, L.A. is aweful for street performers.

Venice, California … is toxic youth mixed with flakes, nuts and sun … it’s beefcake and cheesecake, roller blades and bikes, headphones and butt thongs. It is street art and dog walking … Tarot card readers and tourists … alien abductees and punks … fruits, freaks and geeks … with a heavy dose of caravan capitalism.

Venice, Italy … is like an old song or a photograph of someone you love.
