    Dundas Ontario Buskerfest Update

    After two years as the Artistic Director for the Dundas Buskerfest, I was offered the position of Talent Coordinator for the 2004 festival. Over a number of communications reviewing their restructuring, I outlined what I thought the program they wanted to present, and my services, ought to cost. As of this afternoon, I was informed that our two worlds were not going to meet.

          Don't call 519.659.3972. Oswald, the older man I talked to at that number sounded like he was enjoying his nap.

              Of course, it's 905 area code, not 519. I'll go edit the original now.

                  From now on I'm changing my name to "Oswald" ... I immediately liked the name ... I never liked being called Robert ... always thought it sounded too formal ... so, from now on, please address me as "Oswald" ... "Oswald the Magnificent" ... that's the ticket!

                  ... it sounds closer to who I really am anyway.

                      Lynne, I hope you stay in casting, or production. You've got a golden eye, with heart to match. There were acts who worked Dundas because you were at the wheel, and we knew we would be treated right by any festival you would involve yourself with. Thanks for that.

                              I've been keeping a secret and feeling guilty, and I need to come clean.

                              "Oswald" doesn't really exist. I just made him up trying to be funny.

                              Truth is he was just a flight of fancy. A great name without a face. I'd always wanted to talk with an Oswald, but couldn't explain why. I'm sure you all (or at least butterfly) will understand

                              My apologies for any false hopes my message may have aroused amongst the growing community of fellow "Oswald" Enthusiasts.
