Hi all,
I'm Tiara the Merch Girl, emerging performer and production assistant based in Brisbane, Australia. I started getting into performing in early 2009 and mainly do burlesque, circus, and improv, with a bit of theatre and other things too. A lot of my work deals with personal issues, especially about cultural identity (being a migrant/ethnic minority), though there's also the silly fun stuff too.
I'm starting a business as The Merch Girl, where I provide production and personal assistance to small-scale creative productions. Selling merch and tickets, stage managing, odd-jobbing, research, fanmail, writing - anything you need a hand with, I'm here. I'm working on developing The Merch Girl as a strong character that's both useful (doing production work) and fun (so not just regular ol' Tiara).
