Hello there, welcome to the boards. How is Vancouver now a days? I have friends in BC and I'd like to come over there more but the last time I tried busking in Vancouver I had a very hard time.

welcome! I hope to make it there one day! do you do circle shows with contact juggling or are you doing sidewalk stuff?
I'm trying to put it into my circle show, people love contact juggling.

I found an amazing pitch this year for weekends that no other busker is in.. he he he, so Vancouver has treated me well this year

Granville Island is ok too but I'm not a big fan, too much waiting/heat/places to spend the money I make, but people do well. The circle pitch is hard to get there.

The Art Gallery is OK, probably the hardest pitch in the city, but if you know what you're doing (right place right time) you can make it work .
I hear they are ticketing people in English bay now... Spandy Andy has a video of it.

I am doing a lot of walk by at the moment, but I talk. My show is approx 15 min at this time & needs a lot of work & growth. when it's available, i get a circle show - Canada day for example was all circle shows, and the walk by's got no tips, you'd have to egg on the crowd to get them.

I have a lot of ideas, and it's always an experiment. The festivals have been the best here... We'll see what happens when the Olympics come.
