Hi everybody. First I have to say that I myself am not a street performer/busker. I'm actually a music student at Columbia College in Chicago. I hope you guys are cool with me hanging out and trying to learn more about what all of you do.

You see, I'm doing a semester long study on the street musicians of Chicago. Although that is the base, the implications that I will discuss will extend far beyond that. I basically had to start from the ground up, not knowing anything at all about how these guys do what they do, or even why. In fact, i'm still learning about those things. I come here to hopefully get more immeresed in the community.

So don't mind me! I'll just be popping in to ask a few questions because there is pleanty of material for me to look at already.

I played street music in Aspen,Co. for over 20 years. I played with many music students from around the world. I really liked the students from the university at Ann Arber Mi. Aspen is a great place for Music students to play in the summer.
