My name is Southernmost Silverman!
I started doing the Silverman gig in 2003 around Phoenix, AZ 'cause work was hard to find or not paying enough to bother with. Actually, I began on Mill ave. in Tempe, AZ which is like a burb of Phoenix. The street performers permit was ten dollars, and I made more than I could working for the locals there.
Eventually I ended up down here in Key West and have found it to be the perfect spot for my gig.
In June of this year I went back to being a silver mime after a near two year diversion that included construction work and traveling. Greyhound brought me back to Key West and the rest is as they say "history".
I started up a .com and a myspace site to accompany my renewed efforts.
I am a new member here and look forward to being involved in performer forums often. Hopefully I can eventually maybe shed the silver costume and begin doing more serious busking. It may take some time though.
Nice to meet you all!
