Hello, my name is John. A member of reso-nation posted this addy and I took a peek and liked what I saw. I'm a moderately skilled Dobro player with limited band experience, and just slightly more solo experience. I find the solo thing to be terrifying and would be much more comfortable in a band, but till something comes along I'll keep doing the solo thing. I've only buskered once, on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado. That was several years ago and now that my skill level has improved I'm looking forward to going back. That Mall attracts lots of talent at times and some of them pull in the bucks at times. I'll spend the next couple of weeks scouring this forum for much needed info and then take a shot at the Mall some Sunday. My thanks to all who have passed on their experiences. Perhaps I will be able to contribute something useful soon.
