Hi all, I decided it was time to introduce myself. I'm a full-time magician that busks for the money and to advertise my services for other venues.
After my first season of busking ( 2002) I was able (with a lot of convincing from my wife) to quit work "in the corporate world and fulfill my dream of being a full-time professional magician". That line is in quotes because it's actually part of my pitch for the hat.
I've been perfoming magic for a fee since I was twelve, and have worked just about every type of venue you can imagine.
My street acts consists mostly of cards, coins and some rope magic culminating in a comedic rope escape that allows me to talk with my audience and throw the hat lines. Obviously I've had a modicum of success but I'm always learning, and teaching those less experienced when I can. While it is gratifying to do a bigger show and collect a "bigger" check, there is something different about the street stuff that gives instant and candid feedback that cannot be equaled in other venues. Just look in your hat and you can tell if they liked you or not.
Bio: I live in Northern Kentucky, USA 30 miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio. I have a wife of 16 years, a son of 13 years, a dog of 10 years and a rabbit of 5 years.
Thanks for reading and don't hesitate to contact me if you think I can help.
