Respect for Independent Music in LA? Oh my!

I have been given a spot on the westside of L.A. I'm building a respectable nite for the hardworking performer/entrepeuner who wants to get together with like-minded creators to share live music and recorded music and ideas for that 'next step'.

    BACKGROUND:
After a successful 1st indie CD (Lady J: Music for the Soul) which gave us a lot of action, radioplay, charting on Gavin and mp3.com and a couple of tours, I decided to sign with an "old school" management firm - after wasting time and a year and half of life and letting go of the recordings we did, I am now back into my indie world, finishing up a 2nd CD with who I want to work with, and realizing this IS the 'new school' which is happening - co-oping with other like-minded creative souls who complement what you do. I believe this is why some of the 'old school' is tanking in the music business.

We are looking to build a music community on the westside of LA (oh my) every 1st Friday to stop by, play live, listen to tunes and share information...

Drop us a line or respond if interested.
