A brief history of the Bogle

Greedybogle began life in Houston, TX. After only two years in paradise, though, he had to leave the Promised Land to live in the barren arctic region known as Western Massachusetts. He has been there since.

For a time in his youth, the Bogle thought he would become an engineer - he was good at it, and thought that that meant everything. Then one day he was in a one-act play at his high school, and decided that he would rather be a bad performer than a great engineer.

Bogle learned to juggle during his freshman year of high school. He would go to Renaissance faires with his friends dressed as a jester. By the time he was a junior, he was working at a large chain theme park as a juggler and a close-up magician. He plans to spend the coming summer at the park again, but also hopes to spend time on the street and doing private gigs. While he enjoys the steady work and consistent pay that a theme park offers a young busker, he is looking for something less restrictive and sterile.

In addition to juggling and magic, Greedybogle also spins a diabolo, makes and plays bamboo flutes, and walks on stilts and on water.

Over the past two years, the Bogle has become increasingly political, as he has watched the American response to 9/11 with increasing alarm. He now actively participates in anti-war protests, and does all he can to combat American imperialism and consumerism.

Greedybogle expects to go to college at some point. In fact, he has been accepted to several institutions in the United States. He is, however, disillusioned with the education system and plans to spend a year abroad before going to college. He will apply to colleges in Canada over the course of the next year, and plans to live outside the States after he graduates. He loves stage acting as well as variety performance, and would like to pursue one or both as his career goal.

    Thank you, that is all.

We have a lot in common-

      Both live in MA,
      Both vegetarian,
      Both jugglers,
      Both street performers(almost),
      Both seventeen.

      Can't wait to meet you.
