Hello from a "newbie"
I would like to introduce myself. I am Douglas Bishop, by trade a panflutist, recording artist, and street musician. I have been playing music as a street musician since I was 12, and almost 19 years, 28 countries, and 4 languages later I am now contemplating my first busking trip to Montreal, Canada. Has anyone done any busking there recently? I am looking for information concerning busking permits in Montreal (fees, where to obtain, etc.) as well as tips on the more favorable locations for a busking solo panflutist. I would be grateful for any information, and I look forward to sharing ideas with everyone in the group.
