Hi, I have a suggestion - some sort of 'partnerships"/'help wanted" section - for buskers who are looking for other buskers to join their show or band or go on the road together.

I like the idea. When I was playing fiddle I realized I was not good enough to do a solo act, so I rooted around and found a couple people to play with, but they didn't stick. It would be good to have a place to find performing partners. -

Collaboration is what this industry is all about. We keep saying we need to keep our ideas and material private so that no one steals it. However sharing those ideas can only help create stronger ideas.
If we really all wanted to keep our ideas to ourselves than forums like this one would not be nearly as popular as they are.
Just be sure to show respect, that is really all any of us want, deep down.Comment

From my experience people complain about ideas being stolen on one hand and then turn around and justify stealing ideas on the other. Shaming people who steal ideas and frowning upon it as a group, instead of encouraging it, will prevent ideas from being stolen, not keeping everything super secret.
