GIG Opportunities - OPEN POSTING FOR ALL

I've turned off the "Registration Required" lock on the 3 'Gig Opportunities' Forums... Hopefully anyone coming here to post a gig won't be hindered by the registration process. Those three forums can now be posted to by anyone with a web browser.

not sure if this is possible or whether it will help.

Can you on the first page of performers.net along with the links to go to the forums, library and the such...add a direct link to post a gig so that people who want to post dont need to bounce through a few pages and get to the forums section to find the post a gig link?
and then once they click the link and enter the gig also have it post to the gigs section in the forums?

this might make it easier for people popping in for the first time to just post if that is all they want to do.
