Start each thread with original message

I vote for Regular thread order.

I wouldn't want to annoy the people who have posted here for years by changing it if they wanted it left alone, but why was it like this to begin with?!? It's crazy! You have to first scroll down to the bottom, then up, then down again if it's a long post, then back up, skipping that post..! I have never seen another web forum using this Reverse thread order deely. Understandably.

Yeah I know what Jim the admin said, but that's a lame and weak reason IMO.

Is it possible to insert an option where each user can view it whichever way he wants?

EDIT: I just realised this thread is reealllly old. I also found the thread in the Newbie forum about the thread order, in which Jim said he were thinking of upgrading the forum so that everyone could choose the order for themselves. That was in February, any progress there Jim?

but as for spell checker i am a horrible speller when unchecked

i downloaded the Google tool bar and it has a spell checker on it so i can spell check any thing i type online from my home computer with just one click a spell checker might come with other tool bars like yahoo or some thing

when I'm on the road and not at home i open a word document and use that spell check and paste what i want to say

why not have both?

why not just have both with a links at the top of the page like <a href="viewthread_forward.php">THE WAY IT IS NOW</a> <a href="viewthread_reversed">REVERSE IT</A>... also Im not sure if you created this system or if you are running a message board through someone else or some other software - but it would be pretty easy to have the first post be the first thing and then have them in some order after that if you were just doing in in dreamweaver.... just some thoughts
