    Recent post

    Jim,
The last forum, you could see the most recent post. I think I suggested seeing the 3 most recent posts instead. I don't like this system at all.

Also, the color scheme is hard to look at.

Then why don't you just go start your own site, you ungrateful little punk.

This system doesn't have the last post viewable from the front page. Love it or leave it. Have you seen the features this new system does have? And the colors are not set in stone. I'm still working on a million other things, you ungrateful little punk.

      Scot,

The "last post" column on the front page of the new forums does not list the thread the post came from, but if you click on "Today's active threads" you will get a list of the threads with the most recent posts in the last 24 hours.

The old forum front page looked like this:

And on the old forums, if you clicked "Today's active topics" you would only get the topics posted from 12am-12am EST.

The new forum "Today's active topics" page looks like this:

It has a list of the thread the post came from, the topic starter, the forum, the name of the last poster, page views, thread replies, and a link directly to the post. (Way more information that the "T.A.T." page from the old forums. Plus it's a rolling "past 24 hours" based on your time zone.

      So there.

Keep at it. Jim. You are doing a great job. I noticed that all the things i didnt like at first, are going away one by one. the number of hours this must take is phenomenal. Thoroughly enjoyed your outburst. Carry On, Captain

          Jim,
I don't want to spend much time exploring the new features.

I will not start my own forum. People would complain about stuff.
