FAQ - What's up with the Calendar?
The CALENDAR is very cool. (The link is at the top of every page.)
First off, go to your profile (USER/CP button at the top of any page) and click "Edit Profile." Scroll down and fill out the form to add your Birthday. Then go to the calendar and your birthday will be automatically added to the calendar. (You don't have to display the YEAR you were born!)
The other place your BDay is displayed is on the front page of the forums (on your birthday.)
The other thing (actually the MAIN thing) you can use the calendar for is to post your upcoming gigs, dates of festivals, upcoming conventions, meetings, or anything else that's of interest to our community. Just click the "Public" or "Private" event button and fill out the form. Right now, the calendar is pretty basic and all dates must be added individually, but I'm hoping to increase it's functionality in the coming months.
