    Search Engine

    Damn cryptic thread titles!
There was a thread a long way back, I thought it was called 'horror stories' but can't find it. I'm looking for a particular tale about chopping my head up with a revolving ceiling fan in edinburgh.
Its very weird that I have sometimes written screes that never stayed on my own hard-drive, I'd just chuck em out on pnet and forget about them.
But I'm trying to get the longer ones back to look through them.
Jim...How difficult would an internal search engine be?

There is a search - look at the top of the screen,

But then I couldn't seem to get it to work...

is it a work in progress or my bad connection?

Also, if you hit the search button (below Post A Reply) there is a search by member number. That should bring up all your posts.

Sorry Martin, the search is broken and I have no idea how to fix it. It's been like that for months.

I've had a crazy season but it's starting to slow down. Within the next month, I'm going to begin work on the NEW p.net. The first thing I'm going to do is install a new forum system and transfer all the threads and forums over to a new server. The new system has a great search feature and tons of other new goodies people have been asking for.

Please be patient, folks. Within a month, the forums will be upgraded and then more new things will pop up over the (North American) winter.

I look forward to having search functionality back.

        Jim

P.S. I can't find that thread, Martin. I browsed through all 11 pages of Blah Blah Blah. Anyone else?

I had my suspicions ... especially seeing as you took to gardening so quickly ... your "head kick" always stuck me as very gay.
