short cut

Since you seem to have so much free time, I was wondering whether or not it would be possible to have a short cut from the main Intro page, going directly to the Forums? This would help simplify things for those of us having to always use borrowed computers without the benefit of bookmarks.

I was waiting for someone to find it. It's been there for a while.

This is for people who've already been through the rest of the site and understand what the forums are all about:

1. Clicking the link on the main FRONT door of performers.net that says "Gig Opportunities" will bring you right into that category of the forums. Only the three GIG forums will be summarized on that page. Then you can click the TOP LEFT performers.net logo and that will take you to the MAIN forum summary page with all the categories and forums. That is the same amount of clicks as the long way, but no scrolling.

OR (**This is the secret part!**)

2. On the front page of http://www.performers.net drag your cursor down just below the orange background, dead center on the page. (Slightly below where it says 1997-2002) There is a small white graphic on the white background that links directly to the main forum page. I put it there a while ago for me, just for that reason... to link straight in to the forums. It's invisible to the first time visitor, but saves time if you know where you're going. I want all people visiting for the first time to read the posting explanation on the forums.html page.

So there's just one of my litle tricks!

Talk about magic! I looked and looked, then thought "white on white?" Just scrolled the cursor around & watched the address line pop up with the right code. Nice.
