    The Weather

One of the things that pisses me of about flying places is, You can rarely find out about the weather eg in Aust the best you can get is the temp and whether it's raining or sunny, in about only about 20-30 cities, Vancouver's weather is irrelevent if you're going to Edmonton, etc.

An easily accessed link on the front page of the site might help solve this prob.
I've found a site worth trying out http://www.cirrus.sprl.umich.edu/wxnt/ and hope people will bookmark it and try it out.
It has thousands of local weather reports and a half decent search engine.

It might be a valuable service to add to this site. Let us know if you know a better world wide weather service or like this one.

    That link doesn't work.

There's a mis-typed comma (instead of a period) and I changed it, but I still can't get anthing.

I'm working on getting the TIME on the front page. Weather isn't as critical for the forums, but I could put it on the main Links page. Good idea.

        Peter.

It's snowing here in Ottawa again. We expect this freezing snowy winter to last well into March/April when things start to thaw. I'm starting to refer to the outside world as "The ice Planet Hoth" and telling my cats when they go outside "Hope you had antifreeze for breakfast!"

Ottawa is one the most extreme weather capitals in the world. we get freezing winters and toasty dripping humid summers.

I have found the most rockin weather site on the net...Unfortunately it only covers North America... http://www.weatherplanner.com
This site will forcast your weather up to a year in advance!!! with an 85% accuracy!!!

you put in the city you are going to be in and when your looking for and viola weather. I have tested it myself over the past year and its more right than wrong.

They have a team of meteorologists(sp?) that put current weather thru every possible scenerio over and over and the one that happens the most is the forcast...

But just to be on the safe side remember your umbrella and always bring a towel.
