Nice! Finally someone has come up with a bouncing stilt design that doesn't look like you've got hunting bows strapped to you legs, but for $4K USD I would give up walking/running/jumping and just buy a car.

I've seen them in action live and they are pretty good, but yeah, over priced !
I bet you could have them custom made for less.
In fact Steven, seeing as you have skill with tools, you could probably convert 2 of these high performance pogo sticks for a saving of around $3500 .

I was looking at these and getting disappointed by the high price tag as well. The design is so much better than the jumping stilts that are around now a days.

Perhaps give the product a generation or two and the price will come down.

In some kind of freaky deaky coincidence, a guy connected with the company that makes those stilts contacted my wife today inquiring about doing demonstration shows and workshops with them in our region !! Wierd !!
Not only that, but yesterday I was thinking about contacting a festival I had worked at before in Italy 3 years ago, and that is where we met the guy !!

I won't tell him I'm planning to make some for cheaper
