    Remembering to give Back...

Nice to see you on the cover of the Citizen with a new skill and giving back. It's not the first time. Anything for a beer or two. Best wishes.

I'm not surprised. Are you still working on hulla skirt on a rolla bolla while playing duelling banjoe's with the kid on the river bank? What's his name??? Gazzo, Mark???Have you been able to take advantage of the weather, wind and go sailing?

Well the act is some what of a secret. But it's a small Island and word travels fast here, you know! I just sailed in the 'round the island race Saturday, and boy it was a tough race. A lot of challenges . Wends in all four directions, rough and choppy harbor. current in two directions ,from the curve to the Cow key channel bridge low tide ,6 to 12 inches of water , turn boat over, under bridge, turn boat back up , bail all the water out, good running to Sigsbee, then tacking straight in to the wind to the finish. Came in 6th over all. I'm also the newly elected ''dock master'' at the key west sailing club.

It's a tough race. I remember that for me anyway, being on the water is the best way to stay grounded, ya know what I mean? I love the location of the KW sailing club, your not too far away from action and yet not smack in the middle of it. Happy to hear your doing great. Dock master is perfect. How well did the food drive go at the New VFW? Location is just right.

The food drive was a Hugh success. There was a lot of foods stuff brought, can goods, sugar, rice etc.The bubbles were just out of this world Everyone there blew 1,000's of bubbles ,and I blew 100's the size of a car. All these bubbles went straight out to N. Roosevelt blvd. I was waiting for the cops to come, but they didn't show up.

Thanks Streach for all your help in teaching me to blow bubbles. There are some pictures around, but I'll have to find them. I did have a picture of me blowing bubbles the size that you show in your picture on the front page of our local news paper about the 25 or 26 of march. keysnews.net or com. I'll try to get the photographer to send me a copy. I guess the weather is starting to get nice in Denver? I sure hope I get to come that way again soon. But the real world might scare the hell out'a me after being key West so long. I did take a road trip to Miami last week to shoot a TV show and couldn't wait to get back to my bicycle and sitting under the coconut tree drinking my rum punch in a light breeze watching the ocean and beech view, and during spring break that's a sight to see. You know we only work an hour and a half or two a day at sun set. So it's party all night sleep all day or visa versa. And I like to sail a lot so come on down and I'll take you sailing,we'll have a grand time.
