    WHO knows how to clean one of these suckers (with leather straps)?

    can i take it to a drycleaner?

      I think you SHOULD take it to a dry cleaners regardless... you'll brighten SOMEbodies day.

          strait jacket

          Next time buy a jacket with no leather or removable leather straps. I've had excellent results washing a jacket with leather trim/straps this way. Wash with regular detergent regular cycle by itself, no bleach but put some mink oil on all the leather parts which you can find at most stores in the shoe shine section. Rub all the leather both sides of strap with mink oil...not to excess. right before washing. Cold water. Line dry not in the sun then condition leather once more after dry according to directions. with mink oil. Mink oil conditions the leather. Good luck
