.mov to .flv converter

Can anyone recommend a good freeware that converts quicktime files to flash (.flv)

PC (preferably) but Mac is ok too.

yeah...

That's the one I have. It encodes brilliantly from .mpeg .avi .wmv but for some reason .mov is loaded with errors. I've adjusted the settings every which way bu nothing seems to work.

didn't read it all, but I assume you're doing this for web. http://gallery.menalto.com/node/41056 there's that. And if you have your site hosted with dreamhost, they have a cool easy to do thingy where you upload it, select your options and you're done.

you might also be compressing your mov with the wrong codec. http://www.rivavx.de/index.php?encoderhelp&L=3

Riva is a little buggy, email them. If you have it, as some folks do, quicktime Pro seems to do it even better than flash does

Total Video Converter might do it, but I'm not certain, I haven't used it in some time. There should a trial version you can use...

If your on a pc or windows laptop this is program for you..i've been using it for over 2 years now it's a totally freeware open sourse program called SUPER..and it does all the conversions you will ever need
