    Wireless Mic questions...

My throat is killing me. I mean, I'm from New York, and Italian to boot, but I just can't scream like I used to...
I've seen a few buskers on pitch with TINY cordless mic's attached to thier Can Amps. Can anyone suggest a good mic? I'm not sure they are out there, but it would be great it I could get one and not have to lug a huge battery around as well. Can you run it off the Can Amp with modifications? Or maybe a hi-lithium battery?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

I just got one of these recently.
It stays on the face very well, very small, and sounds great.

I don't get it. Is that wired to your transmitter, or is it standalone?

I have an AudioTechnica wireless transmitter/receiver that i used to use with their earset mic.

When I bought the provider series mic I bought the version that works with the AudioTechnica beltpack. The mic is the same. They just give you 2 cables that screw into the mic at one end and attach to your existing belt pack with the other end.

I found that the AudioTechnica earset is so prone to feedback and so low output and low gain before feedback that I just had to get something else.

This really stays put very very well due to the fact that it goes around both ears.

There's an older model out there of the providerseries mic that does NOT stay put. The boom flops around and spins on the attachment point.

I got that model originally and called and complained and they told me I should have received the updated model. I sent it back and in a week I had the updated model.

It has a nice carry case and the whole thing folds down flat for storage in that case.

A well-thought-out mic in my opinion
