    Treo 700P

    Anyone using the Treo 700P with Sprint, instead of traveling with a laptop?

    I have read nice reviews. However, I am looking for road warrior opinions.

      I use my Treo 650 (Palm/Sprint) when I travel for less than a week or so. I can get my email and I can pretty easily keep tabs on this place and general newsy type stuff. I don't like composing long messages on it, but for quick email replies it works just fine.

      It definitely beats lugging around a laptop for shorter trips. If I was going to be somewhere for 7-10 days or more, I'd think about bringing the laptop. But for long weekends or <1week trips, I don't even think of bothering with a laptop.

      The 700P is way faster than the 650, too.

      Too bad the iPhone is going to be locked into Cingular/ATT. If it was available for Sprint, I'd probably try to get one of those this summer. That thing could ALMOST replace the need for a laptop while traveling.
