    Spinning Basketball

I have seen cheap kids smooth bouncy balls that look like basketballs before but cant find any right now.
Is there anyone making spinning balls that look like Basketballs?
    I need one ASAP.
    Thanks y'all

If I have to I will.
I am going to be spinning it on the handle end of a sword down my throat and would rather go as lite as possible, just for comforts sake.

if you can not find one, get an orange light ball and either paint the black lines like a basketball, or use black tape or a thick sharpie.

            Duh

Unfortunately I was born without the ability to see the obvious.
I just happen to have a sharpie and I should be able to come up with an orange ball to go with it.
I will probably have to touch it up once in a while but now that I am clued in, I think I am up to the task.
            Thanks

              No Orange ball here abouts.

I couldn't find an orange ball, only "Cars", Power Rangers" etc.
              So I bought a B-Ball:
BAD- its a bit heavy which is hard on the throat as I am letting the weight of the ball push the sword down my throat.
GOOD- its a bit heavy which makes it spin a long time.
All and all its just fine and i can do the trick 7 times out of 10 so far, but I have one question.
Its seems that since a basket ball is so heavy/thick it needs to be quite flat to sit well on top of the sword/dowel making it look quite flat. Is this just due to may lack of ball spinning expertise or are basket balls a bit of a bad choice?
              Thanks.

(Edit: The reason I am using a Basket Ball is that it is for Basket ball intermision work.)

personally I do not like basketballs...same reasons you described, too heavy.

also the bumps and lines cause not an accurate spin.

                  Jesus,

You're saying you have to let air out of the ball to get it to spin correctly? Inflate it. You can do it! It'll spin longer when inflated. Less friction. Un-inflated balls are only good for learning. Plus you'll be able to actually dribble the ball before/after the trick for affect.

Here is a link to some inflatable playground balls.

These should be lighter, come in a variety of colors, including orange and you can go back to the marker idea of making it look like a b-ball.

this one is a bit big, but it is a basketball design and visually everyone would see it.

                        Hey Frisbee,
Thanks for the links. I like the big one and may give it a shot.
Sorry for being slow to thank, I was away.
