    Best Fire Devil Sticks?

I find Todd Smith, Infinite Illusions, Radical Fish, AJA, Mr. Babache, Fyrefli, and Dube fire devil sticks fairly easily online - anyone have a preference or warning from any of these makers?

I've also been looking into Fire Flowersticks at firetoys.com, they even have flaming silicon coated batons. fire flowersticks I would assume I would want to attach some chains to replace the silicon tassles, as 'fire resistant' seems to be a suspect description for fire props. I've worked with a custom pair once that had the chains, they got toasty quick but gave great control.

Any insights into any of these brands would be greatly appreciated.

I like Todd smith or infinite illusions, ask for double wicking(looks better& slows it down). I have a dube, its heavy, I use it just fine, but i don't really like it but I'm stuck withit till it breaks cause i don't want to own 2 of them.

      what if I'm realllly broke

Thanks for the advice - I don't suppose there's any reason I couldn't tag some kevlar wicking cathedral style onto the ends? I'm assuming the double wicking costs more.

It shouldn't cost more than a couple bucks extra, but if you have your own wicking, whatever. The double wick isn't necessary. Just a preference

I like heavy, Dube is the best for me.
IMO flower sticks are for hippies and beginers, not a pro. Silicone probably is fire resistant though.

oh, and a comment on the doubled wicking.... I add extra wicks to all my torches as well, but not double. I think the standard wick is 2', and I use 3'. Keeps them burning longer and they move a little slower, but it also makes it very hard to blow them out early if you need to end the session early. It's usually not a problem for me, but it has sucked a couple of times.
