how NOT to power your reciever from your Crate Taxi Amp

you can run wire from the battery terminals on the crate taxi battery to your wireless mic's reciever, but dont be like me and just hang the wire from opening in the back of the crate and then screw the curved metal plate with the knobs and switches back on. the edge of the metal plate will eventually rub through the plastic wire housing/insulation, and short out on the metal plate, This WILL FRY THE AMP.
the correct route to run the wires is to do so in a way that the new wires will never touch any metal, even if their plastic coating gets rubbed away or cracks.
I want somebody to learn from my mistakes so that I can pretend it happened for a reason.

on the plus side, after successful completion of this project, you will never have to carry around the extra battery and charger that most people using 2 channel high-end sound systems are now doing. Just the amps internal charging system and the power adapter it came with.Saves a lot of hassle in foreign lands, cuz theres less stuff that can fail on you.
